Park Royal

Park Royal is the UK's largest industrial estate and one of London's most important business districts. Home to more than 1,700 businesses and over 40,000 jobs, it supports a wide range of industries, from food production and logistics to film, design and creative enterprises.

As one of the capital's largest remaining Strategic Industrial Locations, Park Royal plays a crucial role in supporting jobs, investment and economic growth.

OPDC supports the protection of land for industrial uses and opportunities to strengthen local character and identity, including industrial heritage. OPDC also recognises the potential to intensify the use of land so that more jobs and businesses can locate here in the future.

A rich industrial heritage

Park Royal has been a centre of industry for over 100 years. What was once a rural landscape, became one of Britain's leading manufacturing hubs, producing everything from Routemaster buses and Heinz baked beans to Guinness and McVitie's biscuits.

Today, the area's industrial heritage continues to evolve, supporting a diverse and resilient business community while remaining a major employment centre for West London.

Park Royal and Old Oak

The transformation of Old Oak is creating new opportunities for businesses and workers in Park Royal. As Old Oak grows, we are working to ensure Park Royal complements the new regeneration there, remaining a competitive, innovative and thriving industrial district that can reap the benefits of future growth and investment.
