Community drop-in: transport and public realm improvements

We're working with Ealing Council, Brent Council and Transport for London (TfL) on two transport and public realm improvement projects, and we would like to hear your thoughts on the proposed plans.

Projects we're working on

We're looking to introduce improvements to key roads in the area to make walking and cycling safer, by improving pavements and crossings, delivering cycle lanes and creating space for planting and trees.

The two projects are:

  • The 'Big X' which refers to four main roads through Park Royal: Park Royal Road, Abbey Road, Coronation Road and Acton Lane.
  • The ‘North Acton Gyratory’ which refers to the main roads around North Acton: Victoria Road, Horn Lane and Wales Farm Road.

We'll be holding a drop-in event where you can speak to the team and give us your views on the plans.

You can also find out more about the project and have your say by visiting our consultation website. Details will be available online from Wednesday 21 October and you will be able to fill out a questionnaire to let us know your thoughts. We welcome comments by Wednesday 2 December.
