OPDC have produced a Validation Checklist (2026) which outlines the list of documents and information that should be submitted with a planning application, along with guidance explaining what is required for each document and when each document is required. Public consultation was undertaken on the Validation Checklist prior to its formal adoption. The Consultation summary report sets out the consultation responses we received and how they have been taken into account in the final checklist.
