Old Oak procurement

OPDC is seeking a market-leading Private Sector Partner to establish a long-term joint venture that will shape and deliver a new urban district at Old Oak, in the heart of West London.

Successful delivery of a project of this scale and national significance will require long-term strategic collaboration and a strong alignment in vision between OPDC and its Private Sector Partner.

OPDC takes shortlisted bidders to next stage in procurement for joint venture partner to deliver Old Oak

OPDC has shortlisted three bidders to progress to the next stage of its procurement for a joint venture partner to deliver the regeneration of Old Oak. The milestone follows the first of a two-stage competitive process and the successful completion of OPDC's evaluation of initial tenders.

The shortlisted organisations will now enter the dialogue stage of the procurement. OPDC is encouraged by the high quality of responses received and looks forward to working with bidders as the process progresses.

Reaching this stage marks an important milestone in the appointment of a joint venture partner to help deliver OPDC's vision for the regeneration of Old Oak. The partnership will play a key role in bringing forward thousands of new homes and jobs, unlocking significant long-term economic growth and opportunity for London.

The evaluation process has been conducted through a structured and robust assessment against the published procurement criteria, involving a multidisciplinary evaluation panel, including independent advisers from Deloitte.

In line with the requirements of a live procurement and to ensure a fair and competitive process for all parties, the identities of the shortlisted bidders will remain confidential at this stage.

Subject to the successful conclusion of the procurement, OPDC expects to announce its preferred joint venture partner in spring 2027.
