Breadcrumb Home About us What we do What we do We're delivering one of the UK's most ambitious regeneration programmes, creating a new destination for living, working, business and opportunity in west London. Working with our host boroughs, residents, businesses and strategic partners, we're unlocking the potential of Old Oak and Park Royal to create new homes, support jobs and investment, improve public spaces and deliver long-term benefits for local communities, London and the wider UK. Our powers include planning, land assembly, housing and infrastructure delivery, including compulsory purchase powers, enabling us to acquire our own landholdings to support large scale regeneration. At the heart of our plans is Old Oak Common, the only station where HS2 and the Elizabeth line will meet, creating one of the country's best-connected locations and a once-in-a-generation opportunity to shape a thriving new urban district. Our objectives We want to create a place people are proud to call home, where businesses can grow and communities can thrive. Our priorities are to: Maximise all the regeneration benefits of having a world-class transport hub in the heart of our area, that connects people, places and opportunities. Deliver new homes, jobs and commercial space within sustainable and vibrant neighbourhoods. Protect and enhance the unique assets that make the area special, including Wormwood Scrubs and the Park Royal industrial estate. Our approach to regeneration Our strategy for a new and reimagined west London community sets out OPDC's vision for the comprehensive regeneration and will guide the development of Old Oak.
