Inclusive growth

Opportunity for everyone

We're working with local communities, businesses, schools and employers to help ensure the benefits of growth are felt by everyone.

From creating skills and job pathways to supporting local businesses and community-led projects, our focus is on helping people access new opportunities and realise their potential. We want Old Oak and Park Royal to be a place where residents can build careers, businesses can thrive, and communities can grow together.

Our Economic Vision

Old Oak and Park Royal is a place where ideas can grow into opportunities.

Building on the area's strengths in industry, innovation and creativity, our Economic Vision sets out how we will support investment, nurture talent and help businesses of all sizes succeed making Old Oak and Park Royal a global centre for business by 2040.

By connecting research, technology, skills and enterprise, we're creating an environment where people and businesses can innovate, collaborate and thrive.

Working in partnership with Imperial

To accelerate innovation, entrepreneurship and investment in the local area, we have partnered with Imperial College London to help us establish Old Oak as a leading destination for knowledge-intensive industries and inclusive economic growth. Under our collaboration agreement, together with Imperial, we will grow a knowledge-economy cluster at Old Oak, develop and upskill the talent pipeline needed for the industries of today and the future and strengthen collaboration across West London’s universities.
